But the road back was different. Shortly after reaching this summit, I faced a new mountain: Graves’ disease. By 2016, I was in the fire of recovery, choosing the hard, holistic path to remission. It was a descent into the shadows that taught me that the most 'glaringly beautiful' truths are found in the resilience of the moment.

For two decades, GLoTography has been my obsessive frame on the world—capturing the high-contrast, 'glaringly beautiful' truth of the human spirit.

In 2013, that pursuit was an SLC-to-NYC bike trek (image_3.png). But shortly after, my greatest lesson in contrast didn't happen behind the lens—it arrived as Graves’ disease. By 2016, I was in the fire of recovery, choosing the hard, holistic path to remission that ultimately birthed LunerGlo Apothecary.

I realized that my life isn't about choosing between the visual and the botanical. It’s about the intersection. The frame is the container; the leaf is the content.
